Yum!! Another Pinterest find I just HAD to try. I always have ripe bananas on hand, so it was a no-brainer when I had to come up with another way to make use of them. Freeze them for healthy smoothies, or make a loaf of Reese’s peanut butter cup peanut butter banana bread. Hmmm….let me think on that. Bread it is!
The original recipe comes from Cookies and Cups and can be found here. Looks like a fabulous website with lots of great recipes. The salted brownie rolo cookies on the home page sound like another must-bake for the near future.
I followed the same recipe as the website except I used regular reese’s minis chopped up. I think I used about 20-25 mini cups. I didn’t chop up really fine, because I still wanted some recognizable chunks. If you’re a peanut butter fan, this bread is to-die-for! I actually even ate a slice with peanut butter spread on top. Crazy. I really should amp up the “FIT” part of this website! I’ve been doing too much baking and not enough keeping fit!
